Introduction to Chen Style Tai Chi Sword:
The Chen Style Tai Chi Sword is one of the short weapons in the Chen Style Tai Chi routine. The routine layout is reasonable, the connection is compact, the swordsmanship is clear, and the swordsmanship is stabbing, splitting, pulling, hanging, tapping, wiping, pushing, transforming, etc., combined with Chen-style Taijiquan’s stretching and generous movement, flexible and steady footwork, to The changes of being firm and soft, disappearing and appearing, sticking and sticking together, and flashing and breaking into the air truly reflect the characteristics of Chen-style Taiji sword, which is continuous and fast.
Tai Chi sword is an important part of Tai Chi quan and one of the main equipments in Chinese martial arts. With the changes of the times, swords have withdrawn from the battlefield along with other cold weapons, and gradually become folk performance and fitness equipment. The sword we use to practice Tai Chi is called Tai Chi Sword, also known as Soft Sword. It is composed of five parts: sword body, sword grid, sword hilt, sword tang and scabbard, usually decorated with sword spikes.

- Cross the fingers of both hands together, move left, right, and arc slowly, or swing with the ankle joint for eight beats.
- Bend the knees and squat, press the left and right hands on the left and right knees to do eight rounds of left and right swinging.
- The neck and waist are rotated in a flat circle for eight beats respectively.
- Left and right lunges and footsteps tremble for eight beats.
- front, back, side kicks and left and right leg swings 30 times.
These are the most basic warm-up activities before practicing swordsmanship.
