It suits all adults with no prior experience — any age, no martial arts background needed. It is especially helpful for: 1. office workers who sit all day (tight shoulders and neck, sore lower back); 2. seniors (gentle on the joints and kind to knees and back); 3. people under long-term stress who feel irritable or have trouble falling asleep (calms the nervous system and improves sleep quality); 4. anyone looking for exercise companions (a relaxed atmosphere where you can get fit and make friends at the same time). In class you start from complete-beginner fundamentals such as the Tai Chi standing meditation (Hunyuan Zhuang) and the Baduanjin qigong set.

Yes. The community class syllabus is built entirely from zero-beginner content: the Tai Chi standing meditation (Hunyuan Zhuang), the Baduanjin health qigong set, the foundational silk-reeling exercises (Chansi Jin) and the Level 1 solo form of the Chen-style Tai Chi national grading system, together with other foundational health exercises and forms. It is well suited to beginners progressing step by step, gentle on the joints, calming for the mind, and good for flexibility and circulation. Everyone is welcome to train at their own pace, and the instructor leads the movements repeatedly.
