The 2ndAustralia’s International Martial arts Festival was held in Box Hill, Victoria, from 30th August to 1st September , which was a shocking success.
The total number of participants from all over the world reached more than 1,500 people, including: 26 participating teams and 17 participating teams, 29 aerial photography units with 1,000 people, and 359 individual entries.

At 9.00am local time On 1st of December , the opening ceremony of “Delightful Travel” 2018 Australia’s first international martial arts festival was officially held in Melbourne.
This event was hosted by Australian Oriental Martial Arts Tai Chi Alliance , sponsored by CBD Development Group , and co-organized by Australian Tai Chi Institute, Melbourne Fitness Art Association, Box Hill Tai Chi Center, Melbourne Belle Art Center, Melbourne Beijing Association. The high specifications, the large number of participants, and the wide range of this competition are unprecedented in the history of the world’s international martial arts industry.
The number of participants in this martial arts festival reached more than 500 people/times, covering athletes from Malaysia, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, Hong Kong, China Beijing, Henan Zhengzhou, Tianjin, Jiangsu and Guangdong Foshan, Jilin, Liaoning and other regions and nationalities. Participating events include Shaolin, Wudang, Nanquan, Xingyiquan, Wing Chun and Chen, Yang, Wu and other different schools of internal boxing. Weapons include swords, sticks, fans, Wing Chun swords, Chunqiu broadswords, etc. More than 20 different items of equipment
This martial arts competition has a strong international referee lineup, and a group of contemporary Chinese Tai Chi masters and experienced professionals are specially invited to form a strong international referee lineup:
Specially invited Mr. Zhang Dongwu, the president of China Tobu Taiji Training and Research Institute, China’s national first-level referee, the twelfth generation heir of Chinese Chen-style Taijiquan, and the editor of China’s national level system tutorial, as the chief referee;

Former Australian Wushu Taichi Qigong Association Chairman and Australian Champion Su Rule said: “We are honored to be the support unit of this Wushu Festival. For the first time, we have been working in the Wushu Association in Melbourne for more than 20 years. I see that we like it very much, and hope that in the future, next year, we can hold such competitions together.”
Forming the final referee lineup are the former chairman of WTQA, Tong Law, and Australian international referee Tara Brayshaw, former chairman of the Australian Wushu Tai Chi Qigong Association, su ltong, and Hong Kong’s internal referee LAM Yuk Chun.
This martial arts festival has received guidance and support from all levels of Australian leaders, and went to the closing ceremony to congratulate and support.
Former Whitehorse City Council Mayor Mr. Andrew Davenport said: “I am very happy that Australia’s first international martial arts festival can be held in Whitehorse City. On behalf of the Whitehorse City Council, I would like to welcome you all. I am glad to be able to participate in today’s grand event, and I really like today’s wonderful performance. A bright spot at the closing ceremony gave everyone an unforgettable memory. The honorary chairman of the first International Wushu Festival Organizing Committee, chief sponsor, CBD chairman Chen Guojing and his wife welcomed the warm welcome of all participating players and guests at the closing ceremony. Applause. When the host asked why he could use real money to sponsor the martial arts festival at a critical moment when the real estate market had just opened investment but had not yet returned to the fund, the Chen Dong and his wife replied: “Promoting Chinese Tai Chi and popularizing public fitness To benefit the country and the people to accumulate good deeds, we just did the usual things done by ordinary people…”
A few words are utterly vocal, the words are simple but the love is visible. In their view, it is indispensable to inherit the Chinese national quintessence. To promote fitness and martial arts civilization to enhance the people’s physical fitness, they have regarded the descendants of Yan and Huang as their own responsibility. At the closing ceremony, they became hundreds of Tai Chi When the trainees lined up and sent representatives to Chen Dong and his wife to Jingzeng the banner, when Chairman Chen took over the red banner of “an image ambassador who inherits the essence of China and a hero who promotes Tai Chi culture”, the audience responded with warm applause. Applaud and thank this benefactor in the martial arts world who doesn’t say anything and asks for anything in return.
On the day of the event, various flags were lined up in the venue, and there was a demeanor of martial arts sects competing for the leader of the martial arts. In the morning, 18 participating groups conducted the entry ceremony for their athletes in an orderly manner at 9:00 local time in Melbourne in just 15 minutes in accordance with the regulations of the opening ceremony of the Wushu Festival, and gave a brief introduction to the international referee qualifications. After that, 18 participating teams with 408 people/times immediately began to compete fiercely.
In the afternoon, the individual competition is full of various factions, diverse backgrounds, swords, guns and sticks, and different skin colors compete. Not only there are more than 80 internal boxing events such as Chen, Yang, and Wu, but also foreign boxing events such as Wing Chun, Shaolin, Wudang, Qigong, Nanquan, Xingyiquan, etc. Bite, the true qualities of a hero, are comparable.
Not only local groups and individuals in Australia appeared on the stage, but also martial arts masters who traveled across the oceans and flew to participate in the competition. Among them, there are many outstanding martial arts elites, which not only demonstrates the profoundness of Chinese martial arts, It also shows the great importance of martial arts in Australia. The once mysterious martial arts has now penetrated into Australia and entered thousands of households.
