Ge Chunyan — Grandmaster of Baguazhang, senior fellow apprentice of Jet Li. In the field of Chinese martial arts, Ge Chunyan is a well-deserved leading female grandmaster. She has portrayed many heroic, impressive female roles in classic films and TV works such as Women Generals of the Yang Family, and has become the kung fu memory of a generation with her solid martial arts foundation and outstanding performance. Honored as a National Wuying Class Athlete and 7th Duan Grade in Chinese Martial Arts, she is a role model for countless martial arts enthusiasts. As one of the first members of the Beijing Wushu Team, she was a fellow disciple of kung fu superstar Jet Li, and also served as a coach and women’s team captain of the Beijing Wushu Team. With her extraordinary strength, she stands out as an outstanding female figure in the martial arts world, a true “Heroine of Martial Arts.”

As the 5th-generation inheritor of Baguazhang, 19th-generation inheritor of Chen-style Tai Chi, and 2nd-generation inheritor of Hunyuan Tai Chi, she has comprehensive and superb skills; in the 1984 National Wushu Competition, she won five gold medals alone and won the national Baguazhang championship five times in a row, showing the ultimate pursuit of professionalism with strength.

Founded the “Bafang Martial Arts Training Center” and the “China International Baguazhang Academy” in 2004, attracting students worldwide. Served as Baguazhang consultant for films including The Martial World and The Grandmaster, bringing the elegance of Chinese martial arts to global audiences through cinema and teaching. A dedicated ambassador of traditional martial arts, she continues to share the spirit of the East with the world.

At this Australian martial arts festival, Ge Chunyan will present stunning Baguazhang and Tai Chi performances, and host an exclusive meet-and-greet for fans—offering a rare opportunity to connect, share training insights, and take photos with enthusiasts from around the world.

She will also lead a one-week intensive, teaching core Baguazhang and Tai Chi techniques with hands-on guidance—an exceptional chance to learn directly from a master.

Zhang Maoqing — a lineage holder of Sun-style Tai Chi and a 9th Duan (the highest rank in Chinese Wushu).
A towering figure in Chinese martial arts, he is a third-generation inheritor of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage, Sun-style Tai Chi, dedicating decades to its preservation and transmission.
As Honorary Chairman of the Tianjin Wushu Association and President of the Tianjin Sun-style Boxing Research Society, he plays a vital role in both safeguarding tradition and promoting Chinese martial arts culture.

Sun-style Tai Chi, founded by grandmaster Sun Lutang, is renowned for its agile steps, seamless transitions, and harmony of opening and closing—integrating the essence of Xingyi, Bagua, and Tai Chi.
Zhang Maoqing has trained in this system since childhood, mastering its forms, weapons, and push hands, while embodying its deeper philosophy of balance and fluidity.
Over the years, he has taught internationally, nurturing many successors and showcasing the elegance of Sun-style Tai Chi on the global stage.

Recognized as a leading figure in Sun-style Tai Chi, Zhang Maoqing is both a master of the art and a key bridge in global martial arts exchange.
At the 3rd International Wushu Festival in Australia, he will present a high-level performance, host a fan meet-and-greet, and lead a one-week intensive—personally guiding students through core techniques and power development, offering a rare chance to train up close with a 9th Duan master.

Fu Qingquan — lineage inheritor of Yang-style Tai Chi, globally renowned as the “Young Marshal of Tai Chi.”
As one of the most widely practiced Tai Chi styles in the world, with over 200 million practitioners, Yang-style Tai Chi is known for its smooth, continuous flow and balance of softness and strength. As a family-line inheritor of this UNESCO-recognized heritage, Fu Qingquan stands as a leading figure in its preservation and global promotion.

Trained from childhood under his grandfather Fu Zhongwen and father Fu Shengyuan, Fu Qingquan inherits the authentic Yang-style Tai Chi lineage.
Beginning at age six, he became a multiple international champion, mastering forms, weapons, and push hands, embodying the principle of “using intention, not force” in every movement.
As Chairman of the World Yongnian Tai Chi Federation and head of the Fu Shengyuan International Tai Chi Academy Australia, he has taught across 30+ countries—continuing the legacy of past masters and bringing Yang-style Tai Chi to the world.

Upholding the philosophy of “preserve tradition, embrace innovation,” Fu Qingquan refines his teaching to suit modern needs while retaining the essence of Tai Chi—integrating balance, harmony, and wellbeing for all ages.
