I joined AWCC Taiji 3 months ago. The coaches with the most serious attitude, word and example, carefully explained, patient correction, so that I corrected a lot of non-standard actions in the past, and benefited a lot.
I got attached to Tai Chi because my body had some problems before, and I had taken medicine for a long time, and the effect was not obvious. So my friend suggested I practice Tai Chi. This practice, gradually the body is better, the pain is gone, and even the impatient temperament has changed a lot. Our beloved wendy teacher is also one of the beneficiaries of Tai Chi. Dr. Carina Garland Chisholm by the federal member speech
First and foremost, I wish to begin by acknowledging the Traditional,Owners of the land upon which we gather—the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation.I pay my respects to their Elders, past, present, and emerging.
As we celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival—a symbol of unity, and family bonds—we find these sentiments resonating deeply within each of us gathered here. This is a tradition where families unite, food are shared, and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the full moon.
Similarly, Australia takes immense pride in the unity and harmony that underscore our diverse multicultural landscape. The narrative of Australia is incomplete without acknowledging the invaluable contributions of the Chinese-Australian community. Your roots in this nation dig deep, dating all the way back to the gold rush era.
[Jong Chiu Kwai Le] (Happy Moon Festival)
As we revel in today’s celebration, we must seize this opportunity to reaffirm our collective commitment to inclusion, diversity, and partnership.Rest assured, our government will continue to support initiatives that empower the Chinese-Australian community, ensuring that every voice in our diverse society is heard and valued.
We stand unwavering in our pledge to cultivate connections, encourage dialogue, and create abundant opportunities for all.Together, we continue the vital work of shaping Australia into a sanctuary where each person—irrespective of their background—is welcome, respected, and integral to our community.
As we immerse ourselves in the joys of the Mid-Autumn Festival, I wish everyone to have a happy and unforgettable Mid-Autumn Festival.
